Excellent advice from two very experienced managers. Just beware that it is a bit of a risk. You could draft the 7" PG thinking "awesome I will create a well rounded superstar" only to discover he has respectable JS, PA, HA and DR, inept OD and JR and atrocious ID and IS. It would take several seasons of training to make him as good as a starting player you could pick up off the TL for $1. However you could pick up a brilliant young prospect who will have well rounded skills that your lower division opponents have no way to deal with. It is a lottery!

Anything Inept or below (possibly mediocre) is a pain to train. Keep that in mind. You want the cream of the draft or nothing. Depending on your level, you can pick up decent All star potential guys for around 100k post draft. That will do you for anything you're likely to need in D3 or below. D2 even.

Well if I was Team Beer or Joshy's Ballmen I would be extactic. I would think your chances were nil but I know last season Beasts Red picked last in their division III and got the best player in the draft for their league so anything is possible.

but I dont like giving so much info.
Now if someone knows all ages and heights in your league they can find this guy and not need to interveiw him fully.

I'm not spending much on draft as I will sit somewhere bewteen 2nd or 4th.
Last year I came 6th and got nothing lol

maybe this guy is acutually really clever

maybe the best player in the draft is a actually a 6'7" SF & he just tricked his entire league into wasting their scouting points on big men

could be a brilliant strategy :P
