Also, I think the thing about the Draft is Cost Effectiveness. If it takes you $140,000 to find 3 Players in the Draft you need to

(1) have Drafted players that would have cost you $140,000 or more from the TL to build your team with or
(2) have Drafted players that you can sell for $140,000 + Profit so you can do things like buy Vets or Expand Stadium, etc.

I think you're hitting the nail on the head.

I put in $10k a week because I like to at least have an option when it comes to draft time. Also, (off the top of my head) I believe it is the most bang for your buck on a $/point basis.

A lot of people choose to forgo entirely or certainly use a level less than $40k a week or $560k per season. That said, when you do hit the lottery and sell for $1m+ you can really turn your team around.

I don't want to sound insensitive, or come off like I am insensitive, because that certainly isn't the case, you can ask anyone that knows me, heck, just ask jfarb what a kind, caring, helpful bastard I am; so I really don't want to be thought of as someone who doesn't give a crap, but, that said, who gives a crap how high the bar is? It doesn't have to take a urinalysis in the morning, and it's a free country or something, right?

Bars should be able to do whatever they want, I say.
