Playing a player out of position does not affect his play. Of course, a center will probably not have the same success as a PG, but there is no additional penalty.

If you know what you are doing you can totally jgnore the suggested positions, they have no effect on anything but are determined by the player's skill mix.

If you are a division V team and are out of the cup I would try to cut your roster as brutally as you can. Ideally you want three trainees. They can play backups when not training. Then you need about seven other guys to fill the other positions. You may need some scrimmage fodder to keep game shape nice, players with the lowest salary possible.

I just had a quick look at your roster and don't be offended but it looks like a mess. The "ideal" roster would have a mix of young and high potential trainees as well as some older and beter vertrans to lead the team to victory in the weekly games.
