That is lame. So unfair on all the players that have trained for the team and this is their 1 chance. Can a GM at least create a default team?

Why not offer the job to the highest ranked user in South Africa that are interested in the job?

My suggestion is to make a thread in the South African forum and tell users within the community to send a BB-Mail (or even give a candidacy in forum threat do avoid BB-spamming to someone) to GM (or similar) if they are interested in the job. The candidate with the best national ranking gets the job. At least in my opinion that is better than to have a bot manager even if that person have no votes from the community to back up his candidacy. Could also see highest ranked non-South African that apply for work to have it if no South African are interested.

Just some suggestions.

What might improve things regarding that is to have a page with all open positions on NT teams.
Meaning - NT teams that there are less than 2 candidates for that job.

I believe that some of the users (not necessarily from SA) may have some willing to take that position, but are just not aware of.

As I guess what will be claimed against, I'll repeat - I'm not sure how many are reading this thread, so saying that we created this thread and still no one tried to be theri next U21 NT coach, does not prove a thing.

It doesn't prove anything for sure, because we don't ask to be designed as NT coach, we are elected to be NT coach.

Some days before this thread, I even received a message from an obscur lithuanian asking to be designed as SA NT Coach. I let him know that will not be the case.

If somebody wants to be NT coach, he apply himself during the election and try to win it.

I'll repeat once again...
Not all knows about this option, or even want to explore each BB-nation to find one that they could coach.
Hence, making it more publicize by a page that I defined on my previous message, will do the job, or at least will make the chances, of finding each BB-nation a NT coach, higher.

The problem is not that the SA U 21 doesn´t have a coach, the problem is, that the elected coach left the game.

Your proposal would severely increase the probability of newbies trying to become NT coaches and even make the issue worse, as it would lead to many more countries´ beeing hit with quitting NT coaches.

I think it´s a true benefit that you have to either get used to the game for some time (to find out about NTs at all) AND / OR you have to spend some time digging into the game (to find out about how to become an NT coach) before you can get to that responsibility

If you make "NT elections" just one click away from a well / ill timed signup, you risk alot of "SA U21 is without coach" cases.
