Being bluntly honest, no, I'd nearly guarantee you lose.

That being said, there's no reason not to take a chance. 6 teams in your conference are inactive, and the other appears headed that way. You can pretty much coast to your league finals playing TIE the whole way, so if you want to give it a shot, why not?

i am also say for trying, like the poster said for me you can afford the ct in league matches and your chanches are that he underestimates you(i lost several cup matches cause of it). he didn't took care of his player minutes that week, and looked for GS last week in the cup.

You are in DV, your league got only 5-6 human players, no idea how many are really active. But it's a long way towards the end of the season, you have enough time to pile up enthu for the playoffs. If you lose you will have no regrets, knowing you did your best.

Do what you can, do your best, do not give up, play for the win -- CT that mmm..... ok not suitable word...

One year in the cup I beat a couple of teams ranked well above me because A) I crunched B) they played TIE C) I had max enthusiasm and D) they underestimated me E) they put in a medicore lineup managing minutes

I wasnt saving TIE for league games so it was worth it to me back then but you would likely have to have all 5 of those things happen to win. If you have an easy league, go for it.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I went for it and CT'ed, but he normal'ed so it completely undid it all. Plus if you look at the team ratings you'll see he completely dominated. Oh well it was worth the risk, now I just focus on training and rebuilding that enthusiasm. But thanks again for answering my question! +1 to all of you.
