Its not Buzzerbeaters job to scout for you.

this answer must serve for everything then ... why some information yes and some other no?, indeed i think new players are more important for scouting than injuries

True. However buzzermanager shows the injured players in your league.

I think that injuries to a player on any team in your league should appear on the headlines the same way sales, purchases, and arena expansions do
You got my vote.
This is definately the kind of news that will appear on the media on the real-BB world.

Who says that it should not appear, and the user should investigate it, should ask the same for any information - including sales and buying of players...

Then why does buzzerbeater give you an update every time a new player is purchased? It's a small suggestion that would be easy to implement as buzzermanager already has a similar feature. Lighten up!

There is a difference.

Injuries happen outside the regular schemes (IN game) and are not connected to events inside the normal architecture. Injuries disappearing btw. is, because it´s a routine similar to the building of an arena.

Good idea Chekreyes. That's how real life bb media works.

Yes, but both entries are made via the regular website interface. The "injury in" entry is generated automatically by the engine. That´s what I´m pointing at.

yippie, another "it´s so easy" argument.

if you´d been an experienced programmer, you´d know that any single change of a complex code is a risk, especially if you´re running a bunch of calculations and things in an order.

it´s a difference whether you have an interface process and simply add some "if entry x, display y" routine, or if you have to run a complete check over the whole DB. as of now, there´s more important things right after the game than checking for injuries, i.e. quickly displaying boxscores and stuff.

i do agree that it would not be a bad idea -in general-, but i´m not sold on the idea, because i don´t think that the benefit outweighs the risk (or the effort).

actually, as bbmanager and bbcontrol do provide it anyways, i consider it such a minor change, that -just for me- i wouldn´t spend any resources on it at the moment.
