Ya, tough is right... Do a lot of outside shooting to improve JS and JR and pressure to get his OD up, will also work on ID... Dont forget to train the secondaries, but get those primaries to high values...

So far ur doing a good job, U21 and NT are possible, but unlikely because of "low" potential...

ya If I train Delong right, he could be in the mix, but because of his "low" potential, he'll never be in a NT Team, Prather can....he's a HoF. What are his skills so I can calculate his salary right now? (Prather)

What level trainer do you have?

Assuming you have at least a level 4 trainer (advanced), I would spend the rest of the season on PA. It should finish at about 7 maybe 8. That leaves you with a 20 year old, 6'4 superstar player you want to make a SG that looks like:

9/6/9/7/8/7 - 1/7/5/5 - 7/7

14 weeks of training a season.

4 weeks of 1on1. 6 on JS and 4 on OD. He could look something like:

12/6/10/9/10/7 - 1/7/5/5 - 7/7

So now he is 21. Training him to tremendous OD will probably take 7 weeks of OD. Then you can train JS for another 4 weeks followed by 3 of PA.

14/7/13/11/10/9 - 1/7/5/5 - 7/7

Then you can train JR, OD and JR have an elastic effect so he should pop quicker than normally. I would train JR for probably 11 or 12 weeks which would get it to 11. Then the last 2 or 3 weeks on OD.

14/11/14/11/10/9 - 1/8/5/5 - 7/7

From here it is up to you. He would be 23 and slowing down in training. I would probably go about 5 weeks of JS followed by 9 in JR. By the time he turns 24 he should look something like:

16/14/14/11/10/9 - 1/8/5/5 - 7/7

He would be nearing his cap. A good player for sure.

I am writing this whilst getting ready for a birthday dinner so... I could be way off in some of the estimations(i have never been so great at those anyways), but I dont think im that far off.

Training IS would be a waste of time at his age and level of IS.

Man, IDK why I never get these:

#/#/#

To me it's all jumbled up and I can't read it well, but I was able to read it this time. How come he's lower that what I estimated? He could get to my estimates due to a elastic effect. arggh, sometimes I never get the training part of this game.......

I would just add that you shouldn't totally ignore stamina. He's got respectable stamina right now so it's fine if he drops 1-2 levels in stamina over the next 4 years but you don't want him to drop more than that. So, I'd advise you to train stamina at least twice over the next 3-4 seasons and after that train it once every year so he'll maintain mediocre or average stamina.

I wish there were pigmen. You get a few of these pigmen walking around I'm looking a whole lot better. Then if somebody wants to fix me up at least they could say, Hey he's no pig-man!

Just make sure you don't train stamina/FTs until he is 22 or older. You don't want to waste a precious training week when he is young.
