I guess it's the poor game design, lack of development, no communication with BBs. Focusing now on advertisment has no sense, bb will eventually just loose current users, and the new ones will leave as soon as they find out the problems with this game.

Fix the game, then advertise.


Which raises the question, why are you still playing this game 10 seasons deep when you find it so terrible?

While they have some issues iron out, I think the game design is one of their huge strengths.

I think the main problem is that most of the people don't want to stick to it. I've been playing for 12 seasons now, but for 3 seasons I almost didn't set up the lineup and played with the default lineup. I logged every now and then just not to lose my account. That's because I had some real life problems and got a bit bored of the game.

I think most of the people play 1 or 2 seasons tops, and then they quit. I invited 5 friends, and that happened to 4 of them.

PS: I like the live game-viewer on an Android 4.0 device. When the upgrade to 4.1 comes to my device, that will be gone - no more Flash support. That's a matter of weeks now.

Hopefully someone will release an app in order to use flash again.

The fact that this game does not have an Iphone app, when 30% of the world population have iphones, is the biggest disadvantage in it. More than any game bug or advertisment failure. Make a buzzerbeater app, I'm sure it's not that pricy. Me and people like me pay good money to see the game improve. Iphone app, Android app, make it work.

It would be a great idea to have it on Iphone {and Symbian Platform plz), but BB already works smoothly with every mobile Internet Browser.

On the other hand, Hattrick as of April of 2012 has over 720,000 users. I am not playing this game, but can someone - who does - could possibly tell us what differences really finds between Hattrick and BB? Is it the site construction, the tools, the interface, the mobile applications...? Trying to find the answers through the other (more) successful projects, adopt and finally implement is the key of continuous improvement.

Lately, I can see that the number of the users is stabilized here in BB at 47k. Maybe the Facebook project is commencing. Take under consideration a Twitter project also!
