Not exactly scientific reearch on the subject there.
So much goes into a single pop other than level of trainer.
Sub-levels, age, height and elastic effect to name a few.
I have a Guard that took 2.5 weeks to pop in passing
another popped 3 straight times because it was so much his weakest skill

The word is that each increase in
level has a 50% less
improvement than the previous
one.
(These numbers are totally made
up)
So if a level 1 trainer gave you 50
training points...
1 = 50
2 = 75
3 = 87
4 = 93
5 = 96
6 = 98
7 = 99

Just saying it's possible you would have the same pops with a level 4
