I don't really like red zone action, due to the fact that it's forums are too freaking strict. I will try again....but right now I play Grid Iron it's easy, and a little fun...what about 2nd best Basketball Game? I'd say it would be bballzone.....

I play hockey arena and if you like training, you can train a whole team at once
big learning curve there as well

my little guy found an american football game called red zone and he's playing that one
looks interesting

Hockey arena is pretty good, though I think I'm done with it. It's still being worked on as well, which is encouraging.

For the interest of providing information that I know but that doesn't really matter, the best cricket sim is Battrick and the best F1 sim is Batracer. (Assuming they're both still running).

And crappy match engine mechanics that don't accurately reflect the sport being played.
And seasons that somehow manage to be simultaneously longer in real-time length but shorter in overall games played.
And BS manager verification methods.

The bottom line is that HT is BB with all the good bits removed. Play ManagerZone instead if you want a football sim :P.

Baseball - Baseball Mogul is good for simple folks. OOTP is the overkill fans dream. my favorite console sim is MLB front office manager.

Hockey - I liked FHL and STHL sim leagues, but nobody runs a fair one, and i've much given up on the online sim management games there.

Basketball - Mostly this, i dont find the others as well presented.

"Soccer" football - FM2011 is my game of choice, though the whole series could easily be there.

NFL football - none, i haven't found one yet that actually does it justice.

Football Manager Live already prooved that realistic MMO sport game will not survive.

There's a reason why BB game engine is so weak (and yet they still can't get everything on time).

My cousin plays both Trophy manager and BB, and is pretty succesfull in both. He says Trophy manager has more options and is more flashy, but BB wins big in game engine department. When he started playing BB, Trophy manager was a priority. Now his priorities switched only and only because of GE. He says you randomly win or lose against teams you wouldn't expect too many times.
