Thankyou for your response Manon, and what's going on EF, thankyou four your response as well.
So as Manon put it......this type of offense can work with a "big three" approach.....with a dedicated rebounder/defender?
Should the pg be a better ball handler or passer in this offense.....I realize it goes without saying both are important.

EF- I'll take a look at some of your games, and see you back soon. :)

I too run BO often, with a defensive center.

I look for players with minimum 6 in all skills. (for div III this seems adequate)

For higher divisions it will be a good challenge to figure out how inflated those secondaries need to be to stay successful, or to adopt a new strategy altogether.

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

Hmm, I've never tried the specialized PG/C approach, I have an balanced PG(not much for inside skills) and a C with great outside skills and lesser primaries(both offensively and defensively) Recently though my SF and PF have been doing most of my scoring.

Same. I love Base Offense even though my team is slightly stronger outside, because it lets my PG control the game and find everyone on my team so i have a lot of options. It also helps because when i do decide to switch things up with tactics versing certain teams, they expect me to run Base Offense and are surprised to see Motion, Run and Gun or Look Inside thrown at them

Push the Ball is the same, isn't it? Just at a faster pace.

Yes, that's correct. Needless to say, your players only need better stamina than if they were to play Base.

Yes but that requires better stamina and it tends to lead to more turnovers if all your players don't have good handling and decent passing.

In LI, obviously the guards priority is to get the ball inside. Do they only take threes when they cant get the bigs a good shot, or do they take them if they have an open look?
