The regular season ends on a Saturday (April 19) which is the first game of the training week. If you are in the playoffs, they will be begin on Tuesday. If you remain in 8th place, you will be idle on Tuesday and have a scrimmage opening on Thursday. So you will have 2 games that week.

The next training week, you will be scheduled for a scrimmage on Saturday, be idle on Tuesday, and have a scrimmage date on Thursday.

The next training week, you will be scheduled for a scrimmage on Saturday (which is also the end of the season). Nobody plays on Tuesday, and there is a scrimmage opening on Thurday.

Regular season starts on Saturday.

So you could have 3 weeks of 2 games.

If you sneak into 7th place, the relegation games will be on Tuesday and Saturday, with the 3rd game if necessary on the following Tuesday. So if one team sweeps, you will have two weeks with two games. If there is a 3rd game, you will have only one week with two games.

Also, every player has their Game Shape reset to Respectable before the 1st Cup game.
