I agree with the previous posters in that, if this guy is your primary trainee, you should put him on the backburner and find a younger, better player to train. If you want to keep him then use him as a 3rd or 4th trainee but don't make him your focus because at this point your training minutes would be much better placed elsewhere.

His defense is a major liability. But he does have some good skills and so if you don't want to cut him outright you could always have him come off the bench where his bad D will be less of a problem because in theory he's going against worse players.

Edit: The poster above me mentioned using him as a big man and I like that idea, mostly because his inside defense is less bad and his guard skills would better equate to being good secondary skills for a PF (DR, HA PA, and he can shoot a bit)

I would scrap him and start over with a new trainee. If you are paying a trainer each week you can do much better and you can get started cheap..
