Unless you get rid of that 40k guy and spread that salary around, I'd say you would bot promote but not win. The Big 8 is clearly the stronger conference. They have 3 teams that can and WILL beat you(Bold added for dramatic purposes). If any of them got to the finals you would have to make some risky decisions such as CT'ing to possibly win. It's not exactly a clear decision but face the facts, Terror Of Huntsville beat you TIE'ing. I am quite the reliable source as I just won Div.5 last season. Pay no attention to my current record however. Also, how much for Fang Nanchong?

Bot promote? O.o with 4 losses and being 2nd in his own division? Ive never seen someone bot promote with 4 losses and it is impossible to bot promote unless you win your division, so I highly doubt that will happen.

First of all as I previously stated this is a different team then I had earlier in the season as I've only played 1 game with them. I shed my over-trained rebounding trainees and acquired like 5 new pieces, One of them being a 40k stud. I still have plenty of cap room left around (15-20k) to add new players since I have a large arena (soon to be 9,210 seats). My next game on the road against the Knickerbockers will be the ultimate test as to how my team currently stands.

As for Fang Nanchong it would take a pretty hefty offer to pry him from me, but I'll send you his attributes anyways.

You're pretty lucky as the team in first went bot and has really bad players now. He'll probably lose most of his games and propel you to first place.

Well the team that was in first place went bot and got replaced with a brand new team. Unless that first place team pulls a miracle to stay there I'm sticking to my decision.

I dunno that dropping the 48k roster player is a necessity, but i do think it's overkill in general to have a 40k player in order to promote out of D.V

I'd recommend that you drop some of your depth, perhaps 6 guys in total, and bring back two more guys who have 7-12k salary that can complement your big player. You wont promote with the most money in the world, but you'll have to fail at Game-shape management pretty hard to not promote at all.

Terror of Huntsville is going to go bot near playoff time.

In regards to your question of winning your league. You biggest worries come aginst who wins out in the Blue side, can you go up to 3 games without HCA and come out the winner?

Scout these guys like crazy and weigh up your options, if you don't think you have the cattle to get past them, get that sorted now while you have a chance to get GS right.

I have the space to get a couple 7-12k players without having to drop anybody. Do you happen to know when the transfer deadline is?

I'll rephrase it then. 4 losses will not get him promoted through bot cleanup. There are too many other teams that have 3 losses or less that will not win their league and will promote before he does. His only option is to win his league.

I guess so. I hadn't though about that. Because of this, I don't see him getting out of Div.5 unless something big happens to the top 3 teams in the Big 8(Each have already beat him once).

You're not using your brain. The games I've played against them in the past are irrelevant. Plus the top team is gonna bot soon.
