Why use time and resources on managers who are leaving the game?
How about using them for managers who are die hards and want to save the game?
If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

I understand they wouldn't see the message. My point is the message wouldn't be necessary in the first place if they weren't quitting.
Let's work on things for people who aren't quitting.
It is easy enough to go to a league's page and use something called a calendar to find the last login date for people who are that interested in finding a bot date. Perhaps under the last login date something like "14 days until bot".
I just think time can be better used in big fixes elsewhere and leave little touch up jobs like this for later, if at all.
If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

It obviously doesn't happen in Naismith, ABBL or Division II in France but it would help the less experinced managers in lower leagues. There could also be a news item when it happens. There is a news item when a new team is created, why not when the old team died. "The board of governers of XXX has decided due to lack of commitment by the manager of XXX that their contract will be terminated immediately. The club has high hopes for the future but this will require radical change. XXX hopes to soon unveil it's new name, roster and manager."
Also Perpete you know I used to watch teams very carefully for when they would go bot but if their last login was late on a Sunday night or early on a Monday morning (which you have no way of knowing) you could sometimes be a week out.
