But that shouldnt count, imagine like real life, would you think bcz a loss of a game, you wouldnt be watching the Cup Final of your team in real life, no matter what sport it is???

Your arena-prices are way to high. Only the spoiled population can afford to buy tickets for your games. And they don't want to see your team losing.

I guess, that's realism.

Losing the league games and having maxed out ticket prices probably are the reason.

The BBs have stated that there's no Cup Final/playoff modifier for attendance, since that would give too much of a financial advantage to teams to have guaranteed sellouts in those situations.

It's definitely not a bug.

Teams who do well in the cup or playoffs are rewarded with extra games, right? (By extra, I mean they get 3 games a week for some weeks while others only have 2.) This seems somewhat unfair for those teams with two games. The argument that I've heard is that it's a reward for teams that do well. And that's fine, but it seems to contradict the reasoning for attendance here.

I see these two advantages for successful teams - 3 games in a week and higher attendance - as being somewhat similar.

It is not a bug, and GM-Borobia didn't clame it was. But it's still outrageous. Unrealistic.

Attendence in final rounds of the Cup should be higher. Like on the league playoffs.

The team loses games on the league exactly because it's giving priority to the Cup.

And in a Final, to win a national title, a 10k stadium should be full no matter how expensive the tickets are (since the ticket prices already have a reasonable upper bound).

Reduce the prices and the arena will be sold out, even if you are losing sometimes.

I know how the ticket price system works, thanks, but we are talking about a national Tournament Final.

It's a different context. In real life prices of finals are always sky high and the arenas are always full.

I think the whole point here is that fans should be able to separate the campaign of a team in different competitions, as they do in real life.

The fan behavior nees to be better tuned, because in real life if a team is doing very well in the cup and not so good in the league, the fans wont give a rats about losing a couple games in the league before a big game in the Cup. All they'll care about is the big game. Teams even play these previous games with reserves to rest up teh top players to the big game. Here we do the same, which is correct, but then the fans run away...

I think theres really nothing to think about.

Its exactly what Raonne said: prices of finals are always sky high and the arenas are always full.

I appreciate the effort BB's put into the game trying to balance out economy and having no competition prizes so things wont get too unbalanced between teams and all that, but if the cup doesn't have interesting publics during its finals and if getting really far on the cup doesn't result into a nice advance in fan base, then it's really only a decorative cup...
I think it would be nice to see teams being rewarded for their struggle in a competition.
