Why should he ditch one of the guards
I have always trained 3 at a time and they all get trained almost always
playing that Center out of position is just what he needs to get secondaries to make him a complete player.
First however as Mr Clogs points out:
Better get a better clue on training

I say that because both are 20 and not too far along, plus I am trying to train three players right now and one consistently receives partial training unless I am doing one-on-one forwards, jump shot or rebounding. I guess ditching a player may not be necessary, but pick two who you will always get 48+ minutes and make them the primary trainees.

I agree. First two are the primary trainees and third is the redheaded step child.
