its ok u are not the first to make this mistake.

Unfortunately, as you will learn the more you speak English, is that the English language, is really, well... its really quite stupid most of the time.

I have actually seen this mistake made many many times. Perhaps BB should consider renaming it? (obviously not change the way it works in the game, just the english name and its translations).

suggestions:
Outside Shot
3pt Shot
Jump Shot Range

etc

Well, since somebody posted about missing skills, I gotta say I had a skill or two that I would like to see in BB.
- Post play or back to basket (not the same as inside shot, that goes more for layups and dunks and hooks, this would be the post moves and skill getting open)
- add Stealing or remove Blocking (I know stealing is on Inside/Outside Defence, why isn't block too then?)
- atleticism/hustle/thoughness (could help on dunks, rebounds and on those dead balls that go of your hands off the court)

well, stealing is directly related to Outside Defence and probably a little bit to ID.

BLocking is directly related to the Shot Blocking skill.

So im no sure what you are trying to say or why you think these are, or should be hidden skills.

You can have blocks on 3pt shots and on layups/dunks. Block could be implicit on ID and OD like steal is.

Either that or...

Had steal. I really think than 1 guy can be a great Outside defender on 1vs1 game or moving throught screens etc, and be a bad pick pocket player or pass interceptor.

Thats why I'm saying, either remove block from the game and make it also depending on OD and ID too (more on ID probably), or add the Steal attribute.
Thats the reason why OD is so powerfull, its like 2 atributes in 1. And on inside skills you got to train 2 different skills

Got it?

Yup I get what u are sayi g.

you might find that Handling already is the complimentary skill for OD. I havent done any analysis on this but im pretty sure that given two players with the same OD rating, the guy with better handling will produce a better perimeter defense rating AND possibly more steals. I dont have any stats to prove this though.

I believe OD + HA = Steal too.

Just a Theory... more like a hunch.
It's hard to know, we need to much information.

essentially its based around the training.

Handling training is the only other training which will also train OD.

Therefore I have always believed that Handling and OD are related in the game.

a bit like, how SB training also trains a little bit of ID. thats because they are related in the game engine. Same with Jumpshot and Jumprange. 1n1 for forwards trains driving, but also inside shot. and in the game, a forward with great driving and IS performs really well.

so i dont have any statistical proof for you, but I believe that the above concept is a fairly solid reasoning.
