Still, it could be used for cheating, and scrimmages are just practice. That's like me going to a Miami Heat basketball practice and me saying "I bet that lebron will hit 5 threes. 20 bucks if he does." It's pointless betting and a bad idea imo, especially with the fact the cup takes place on Thursdays and if you're in it and winning, you make money anyway.

as mentioned above, betting on scrimmages opens up a pandora's box , so no way

I got a better idea. If both teams agree then it becomes a death match. The loser has their entire team stoned to death. The winner gets a special trophy in their profile.

You could even use the current game engine to simulate the stoning:

LUCKY FAN throws a rock from the wing at MICHA ROTBERG.
Shot missed.
LUCKY FAN tries to bank one off the head of GARY GUTHRIE.
Scored.
GARY GUTHRIE injured on the play.
LUCKY FAN fires from the top of the key at the face of GARY GUTHRIE.
Scored.
GARY GUTHRIE is dead.

Now that I think about it, I think the finals of the B3 tournament should be a mandatory death match.

Except that from what I read about the NBA, the players are all already stoned.
