Thanks guys for your replies.

Yes I have spoken to mllama who was very helpful and got me thinking about all this.

Really I am trying to determine what is the best area to limit as I am trying to keep his salary to around $200k.
Unfortunately we cant have everything, cant have great defense, great passing, great outside scoring and great inside scoring. So as a PG what is most important if your teams plays predominately inside offense?

Based on my limited experience, when I play LI I, playing 3 PFs, I need both guards to have high passing and JS with JR at most 3 levels lower. OD is a must with driving and handling secondary.

For LP i normally play my best passer at SF so ideally high passing & handling preferably with some ID, IS, thrown in.

Exactly how high would depend on your opponents.

I'd say some IS training can be very beneficial for your guard, as he'll be driving inside too, and without proper inside scoring his only option is to pass once he does so. If he doesn't have a good pass to make, he'll turn the ball over or take a bad shot. I'd figure if he at least had mediocre-respectable inside shot his options when driving will be better; most of the time he'll still look for the pass but he can make a decent shot if he can't find one.
