Well in that case, why give them bigger arenas anyways?

We should make the new teams start without the $300k and the 4*50k$ they get to compensate.
All that would do would be to seal the fate of this game a little sooner.

Who will be affected by increasing arenas?

If everyone, what happens to players who're on seating limit capacities?

You get 2 Luxury Boxes for free, if you have 0 after Allstar break. If you already have 2 or more, you get nothing.
Same with other categories.

They could have refunded the money of the seats for managers who signed up last season or added the extra seats for free. I wouldn't feel that great if I was one of those who missed out just because I signed up a few days too early.

You can make the case that those who spent the money 2 seasons ago have already got their money back so I'd leave it at 1 season.

All my money since October last year was invested in arena... While my results suffered.

+1 for refund.

Since it would have been better to give some warning in advance, I'd certainly agree a refund is fair.

They have given a half season advance warning. The total increase in the starting seats costs a total of $274,600 to build. Anyone who built these seats last season or even early this season likely will make more money from having those additional seats than they would make from waiting until the all-star break to get these seats for free.

Only if they had fannies in the seats, which is very unlikely at lower levels. It is far more likely that additional seats were empty and not revenue-producing.

Not really true at the numbers we are talking about here. Even in the lower divisions, you can sell 5438 bleachers, 500 lower tier, 60 courtside and 2 luxury boxes with proper pricing. And anything above those levels is completely irrelevant to the discussion.
