I will update the chart offsite once I get a bit of time.

Unfortunately I agree with you. Laurent will likely need to be in the mix. I am considering starting the season without him as our first few games are pretty easy however I guess we will see.

Tomorrow the NT enthusiasm will be reset....

So tonight I finalized the starting roster. Lots of tough decisions but I am happy with the starting 10. We will certainly need to add a big man to the roster before long but starting with a lean roster allows me to select the best player to call up in regards to GS and potential training.

Its game day! In fact it is a double game day!!

Canada is currently playing a scrimmage against a U21 team. Would have been nice to have a more competitive game however it was very difficult to get a scrimmage booked. Several NT teams missed out all together.

This afternoon we will play Panama in our first contest of the year. You can expect all of our players to get plenty of action in what should be a 20+ point victory.

The first game of the season is now complete. It was a 25 point victory in a high scoring affair against Panama. I am not going to talk about the scrimmage that we roasted a poor U21 team in.

The Good - Team Canada's starters all scored in double digits and as a team we amassed 31 assists from a standard offensive set.

The Bad - Aleix Barrero-Valverde shot the ball poorly today (or was well guarded). His 4 -14 did not hurt us in this contest but will need to improve going forward.

The Ugly - Our first quarter defense was dreadful. Panama scored 33 first quarter points to get out to an early lead. That was more points than they would score in the 2nd and 4th quarters combined.

Game Ball - John Sammons lead the team on offence today picking up 26 points. He shot 11-17 on the day including 2 of 5 from downtown and collected 9 boards and 3 assists.

I keep replying to all in this thread and realize it is only me :(

Anyways we now have a bye week. I will be arranging a scrimmage with Brazil for this time so will keep up with the updates and testing of lineups/tactics.

I agree with Headless. I'm reading it all and interested, just not really in a position to contribute much.
