Kind of doubt he'll get a bid at that price.

Most likely you'll just end up paying the sales fee of 3% or however much it was for your specific player and then you can relist him. I know GM's and even BB's can't change bids because it wouldn't be fair to everybody else.

Yeah but with the new sale taxes, after he "purchases" the player from himself, the tax may skyrocket to 30% or 40% for the following transaction (not 100% sure about this, but it's possible)

Truth, I didn't think about that. That actually really sucks. I've never been a huge fan of the resale tax. I think it hurts the market.

For the player, quite probably yes, but it had the same effect 10 seasons ago
This is only partly true, it was 20% max in most cases now it could be a lot more!

This is actually the second time you've bought this guy from yourself, and you've bought 5 players from yourself a total of 6 times. I'd be willing to tutor you on how to list players and then not bid on those players, for a small fee, of course.
