I have this player: (36171201), in my Utopia team. He averages 31% this season. And his FT is atrocious. I suppose that two or three weeks of FT training would see to him making a lot more of those shots.
I have always found it a bit funny that there is a very easy fix to players in BB shooting bad FT's and still we see people asking for a fix.

Because its counter intuitive and with the slow pace of training, training FTs for a couple weeks, just to score 0,x points more per game, can screw up a young trainee to a certain degree. As we have/should produce young talent all the time, free throw training is an obstacle.

You'd probably be better off with team training rebounds, just to rebound the missed FT and get another chance at 2 points.

I've said before and I maintain.

I think it's stupid that Jump Shot training doesn't have some impact on improving FT shooting.

I have this player (http://digitalfieldtheory.com/player/35520719/overview.aspx). He shot 17% FT this season. SEVENTEEN PERCENT. That's ridiculous. And he's about to be 23 years old and training is slowing way down. I'm not going to waste weeks of training when I could be training defense. I would settle for 35% shooting from this guy.

If "someone" represents a big part of the community a change should be considered. A fix would not change a lot, but give us a more realistic experience

dude, they are saying that 1 or 2 weeks of FT training would change a 0-10% to a 30-40%. And you are saying that you are too lazy to train FT so let's get it to 40% by default. How is this ok?

Well, if you don't understand I can't help you. If the game wants to emulate real world there should be no absolute zero in a skill. Same applies to passing.

How would more realistic default skills hurt playability and fun? I don't get it.

Starting page says:

Realistic basketball action. Play the most advanced basketball simulation and coaching AI ever released. Watch games live on a state-of-the-art viewer.

So if realism is a goal and sthg. the game boasts about, we should work towards it.
