I've owned 2 guys, one was 17 OD at PG, the other was 17 ID, 13 SB at C. Both in D3 fouled out every other game. But they also fouled other players. They were like that ever since I drafted them and no amount of defensive training helped. They also however got a lot of steals and blocks. Ask around and you'll hear some other opinions on the aggressiveness stat.

Wow. I guess getting fouled out is pretty unavoidable then.

So if I would recognize that my guy has high aggressiveness, I could get a better bench player to back him up and get a potential advantage in a way if my #1 guy fouls out but fouls out opponent's #1 guy as well, and his bench player would not be as good as mine, I would have an edge. Did I reason this right?

Is it possible that there is one for injury proneness or has that more to do with doctor level, possibly game shape/minutes played, and pure luck? How about physical attributes like pace, strength, etc.?

Yeah I mean if you've got a foul happy guy and you wanna put your best reasonable backup behind him that would probably make the most sense...

For injury proneness, minutes played isn't really the way to distinguish how likely an injury is. It's offensive touches. Basically, most injuries in BB happen off fouls or flagrant fouls, the players who get the most offensive touches will draw the most fouls and thus have a higher chance of injury.

I think if there are any other "hidden stats", they aren't relevant enough to go digging too deep into. Even if you somehow reason about figuring them out, they won't help as much as your primary stats will and likely won't help much in the long run. The only reason I bring up aggressiveness is because its the easiest one to spot. That's just my opinion however on the concept of "hidden stats", you may find others who have spent many seasons looking into it.

As I have what seems like an agressive player I feel like I have to tell something. It's a pain in the booty to train him, forget trying to train 3 players in 1 pos training.

Haven't had any injuries on opponents and it doesn't feel like Steinmetz is shooting from the line a lot himself.

Also, while we are on the topic, i would like to discuss another one:

Willingness to train.

Maybe I'm just a trash trainer, but already two of my ex players weren't improving at all. 1o1 training for guards (198cm and 193cm height) would take 2,3, sometimes 4 weeks for a pop. I understand height is a big factor, but these guys over a season get 5-8 ups maximum, while 193cm Hsiao got 13+ (can't remember exactly).

Any thoughts?

Edit: All mentioned players 19-20 years old.
