It looks fantastic - very modern UI. And eventual reskinning of the whole website might very well make BB much more relevant.

my same tought...1 more click and 1 more page for what? show us they started to do something? just show the whole website restyle not a single (useless) page..

Oh wow. A modern page that looks like something. But it's just decoy and the whole site is still the same. :?

Do you want feedback on the design or why did you do it? Don't get me wrong. Any change is welcome. But only the homepage before the login? That cannot pass as breaking new ground. |-O
