I can see that of course those should hurt merchandising a lot but still almost 60% drop just because of that is bit ridiculous if not a bug

I know it's based of salary but is it really that big of a percentage? Around 40% of the player's salary. If this is the case, next week when Paakkinen plays again I should get almost 200k? And also I think I got more merch income than 135k before Paakkinen even got to the NT. That was during a time with no NT players, less success and much less total salaries.

Well the salary of Paakkinen jumped a bit so it would make sense if the merch income would be higher than ever. But yeah I guess we just have to wait and see.

I'd appreciate if any BB could confirm that it's not a bug and there is a reason for these massive drops. No need to go into specifics but would be helpful to understand the reasoning.

It has to be said that the advertising revenue at the beginning of the season is lower than at the end of the previous season. This is precisely because the fan survey was reset. In my opinion, the fan survey has a strong influence on advertising revenue (probably a little more than previously assumed, but I can be totally wrong).

And yes, it is known that domestic players who also play for the NT bring in more advertising revenue. It is even more the case if the player was drafted himself.

Hi, I also noticed this weird thing about the merchandising economy, last week I was 28 467, I always won, no transfers, no layoffs, this week I reach 25 668.
As a programmer that I am I can not understand the variable that makes me go down so much. Do you have any idea please?

Update: After this, my merch profit has been 160k Week 1, 159k Week 2 and now 155k Week 3. I can't figure out a reason it is that low. Sure I lost against my rival week one this season but I also lost one last season 7/17/2021 which was followed by few of the biggest merch profit weeks ever. Now my fan survey overall score is 4.5 so it shouldn't be the problem.

Maybe there is a reason for this but it's just very difficult to understand.
