i think the explanation of this

look at the type of defense he put up with your offense.

sometimes even in real games, when i was basketball player there will be times im forced to take a shot because

1. the defense doesnt respect my offensive skills and make me so open i can even take 5 seconds to set myself before taking the shot

2. at certain games, surely there will be a time that you find yourself too open because the defense forgot or got mix with your offensive flow that leave you open

3. lastly you are so open because the defense knew your play and adjusted very well that you used up your dribble ( you dribble already and stop ) and you got nobody to pass to, and you got no other option but to take it.

it happens in real life so why not here, i think you should be happy he attempted the shot than turning it over, or got block which is more embarassing

I think that it is not so strange, especially if those shots are in the last second out of 24s of the time for attack... I saw it in my games also, as well as in real time... :)

My two main centers have taken 14 threes total. Surprisingly, they're shooting almost 30% too.

The warriors play more of a run and gun style and Andris Biedrins took all of 0 threes all season.

My three regular big guys like to shoot the three-pointer in my R&G offense.

All of them have over 25 attempts or more, but one (back-up PF) is 19-40.

the way i understand it, even with R & G as far as offense goes its more outside

so if your center shoots 3 im sure his given the green light to hit the lights out even bricking em all the time
