Every Monday you will be offered 3 staff members (a doctor, a coach, and PR man). They might be better or worse than who you have now. So wait until Monday and see who is being offered as a coach.

Yes, I'm new. My first game was on saturday. I don't remember exactly, but over 100.000 so more than enough to afford a lvl 9 coach. :)

how do u no if the coach is beter than your old one, as i have just started playing and my current coach i am paying £1000 a week but the one i can hire cost £12000 a week?

Each staff member has a skill level displayed next to their title. You start with Trainer: 1 which is a level 1 trainer. Each week a new staff member will be displayed that you can chose to hire. It will display their name and below that "Trainer: X" where X is the skill level of the staff member. The higher the level, the better the staff. However, the skill level will decline over time.
