it's possible that his conference just sucks that badly. since your league is new he might be able to get away with that for now. usually you can CT a few games and get a lead in the conference, but the low enthusiasm would kill you later on. he's going to keep doing it as long as it works. i would too if my enthusiasm was crap but i was still winning. i think you have the advantage in the game since your players are better. you're undefeated so i wouldn't worry too much if you happen to lose.
