It basically gives you an idea whether the player is mediocre and higher or awful and lower in obviously connected skill. But you won't get your money back if he is not.

Nicely said - informed crap shoot:)

Edit: Really bad typos.

i might be wrong, than pls someone correct me.

could it also be that the SG played in an outside-jump shot minded team and therefore shoots alot and the Center could have played also in an outside minded team and therefore doesnt shoot nearly as much as the SG or when the Center would have played in an inside minded team?

ps have to say that the stats for the SG are quite impressive.

I have a two star SF, who shot 16-20 (3-3 from three) with five rebounds in 35 minutes. We ended up looking at him again, and he rated a C- (2 potential).

Would you draft such a player over an unscouted four-star?

Interesting. I found out exactly the opposite.

Me also, i would have thought if everyone saw the same game stats it would make it pretty easy to communicate with fellow league members to gain extra information

Well if you see the same stats as someone else it is probably.

a) a coincidence, two players had the same boxscore line by accident

b) a bug, especially if both of you scouted him twice and he has the same rating and potencial for both of you - then report it in bugs forum please

Important note - Your Player x is most probably notPlayer x for someone else. X is a number from 1 to 48.

Edit: Ooops! "Not" was missing.

I would put it this way:
Your Player x is most probably Player y for someone else. Where x and y is a number from 1 to 48.

A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

Unless this player got his information from a BB, I can only assume he came to this conclusion by sharing information with a fellow player.

This is exactly why the draft remains abstract, to protect the rest of us from this sharing of information, whos only goal is to gain an unfair advantage over other players.

For all of those who wish a more realistic draft, there is your answer.
