I just noticed that my backup PG was picked to the U21 USA National Team and likely will see time as a SF according to what BB says is his best position.

So how did he get picked? That's freakin' sweet to see my player listed on the roster but I'm just curious about how I was lucky enough to have a player make the roster.


He's just being scouted at this point.

The final selection wont be made for a few weeks for U21.

By scouting, does he actually try him out for a few games or is he just getting ratings and the like?

Based on scouting you will get some information on the players from the draft in the end of each season. If you spend enough on scouting, some players might be scouted twice, in which case you see the box score from 1 game.
