Training works, my best player had 15 pops last season...he was a guy I scouted and drafted just one season ago.
Name Team Pick Preference
Bronson, Joe 420 Shot Callers 16 1

Bronson is now worth 9,147 in weekly salary and is in talks for a spot on the USA U21 team. The best teams always build from within, even if they sell their talent to help improve team in other ways.

i dont know how you felt like training is a waste of time,

you are robbing yourself of the joy of how wonderful this game is. seeing your players from sub par to acheivers for me is something im happy.

training players as well as building arenas is a must, because you can only have a certain amount of players considering their skills levels or salary that you can accomodate.

to me training is a waste of good time or money

building an arena is a good choice but now im trying to buy this point gaurd then ill consider expanding

i only train this one guy that will probably make the U21 canadian team

Well it seems ironinc that you complain about players being to expensive, when "training is a waste of good time or money" to you. The reason why the players you are looking at are expensive is that they have been trained. If you want to buy these players you will need to earn the money to do so primarily by training (and perhaps also by expanding your arena) - and it seems reasonable: Funding player purchases through selling players you have trained and thus earned money on.

or a waste of money. Training doesn't cost you anything.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.
