I don't see what the problem is -- if you're winning a lot, and he isn't, you're receiving way more money from gate receipts.

I do not agree, I think he takes in preatty much the same as me looking at his attendence-

His ticket prices are lower.

If you ask me, the STH system is designed to provide a level field for competition. You won't be allowed to have significantly more STH than any team in your league -- they're supposed to be able to compete with you.

Making the division semi-finals and the cup final is not too shabby at all, so your rival is doing pretty well.

And again, if you're winning the cup, and winning the league every season, you're making about roughly $1,000,000 per season that your rival isn't making. I think this is a handsome reward for your efforts.

Well, No again. We have both had one game in the new season. His gate got him 440602$ I got 4000 less. That amazes me as I (sorry for repeating myself) won the double last season and he won nothing.

Well, this is because you're having a tough time selling out all of your seats. How do you expect to sell out your stadium with $18 BLEACHER SEATS?

Edit: Also, I see that you're putting in more bleacher seats. If you can't sell out your bleacher seats now, then why are you putting in more?

Well I was selling out more or less, untill the reset. And as I wrote. I'm double champ, so one would expect there to be a sellout crowd.

I expanded to experiment with ticket prices. A few days after, I saw that the GM's are planning to impliment ways to make bigger arenas less attractive....

Also if you look at my rivals Luxury boxes and prices. He has had much more luck charging a few hundered $ more than me and attracting more fans to those seats.

I don't know about the new season.

But let me reinforce: if you eliminate this guy in the semifinals and you beat him in the Cup final, this should be $1,000,000 extra income for you -- $300,000 from the Cup final, and ~$700,000 from the 2 home games in the league final.

Do you find this insufficient?

Well 1mill now a days aint much. So yes, I find insufficient, and I only got 1 finals home game. I can understand that you dont agree, and that's all right. But I still think that it does not add up after winning the double for 3 straight seasons.

My position on the situation is that top teams shouldn't be allowed to become exponentially better by brute force (which means by gaining heaps of new income), so that the runners-up have a chance to catch up with them. It's a critical playability component.

been following the discussion and I must say I agree with you, especially this last post. Teams should have a chance to catch up, it makes it more interesting for them and for the winners that must work to stay on top.

But that is not only a revenue question. It also takes alot of work and skill to become champ and a top team. There must be some sort of reward for it. You can fight your way up also by making sound trade investmensts and managing your staff and player saleries well. Buy cheap and sell expencive.

If your competitors do get the impression they can by no means catch up with you, what do you think they gonna do? What would you do if there is no way to win? You might think stop playing, right? So in case you prefer to have some leaguemates...this might be your reward!
