I just finished another expansion last week (nothing major but still an improvement).
Well my team now is the best team I've had since I started the game, so that is where the money went.
Well I make 150k a week, and my current team is enough to make sure I don't relegate, so I keep saving money and trying to win my league with these older players, and if I still don't promote then I can use the money that I am making each week to upgrade a position further down the track.

You don't have to explain yourself!! I was just jumping on the bandwagon... I wish you luck with your strategy!

haha no worries, I hope my strategy works too :P Otherwise its back to routine training and eagerly waiting friday training updates to see which of my players got a pop and then being depressed when I don't see any pops :( lol

I tried tanking this season but just got sooooooooooooo bored lol. I lasted 5 games, and then decided its too hard to tank :P
