For now I'm just taking advantage of not having the floor salary. I'm pumping everything into my arena and scouting (which I've backed off on now) while I don't have to be competitive. My plans will mostly rely on how lucky I am in the draft. If I land a monster, I can sell him off and maybe be competitive next season. If I get someone reasonable, I'll probably be forced to train them and be only marginally stronger than this season.

what are your plans with your Utopia team?

First, Training my 2 SF (Vilic, Gilligan) ... and Mills and Pekha for the 2 slot training like rebound, jump or 1to1

second, when they will be ready for being top players in league 3, buying players to complete the roster and playing the win

sorry for my english, i try with no help

I'm training My USA U21 Prospect Curran along with Dr Ceglie and my remnants of my starting squad in 1v1 right now, surprised I'm actually in the playoff right now, considering how ad my team is. Hopefully Curran can pop really fast so I can build his and ceglies OD up to elite status. Not investing in draft because with my recent history every time I put cash into it I get trash players...so I'm just putting the money in arena and later on will get some big men

Going to pickup two American 18yr old bigs next season and train them for U21. I will probably sell two of my current trainees at the end of this season for some money. I want to expand my arena but I need to save some money so I can get some top U21 prospects next season.

has anyone tried training OD at SF or any of the other stay in position training?

I wouldn't bother training a player at 80%. Maybe if I had to play him in position to make the difference in a championship game, but the penalty on training speed is just too much. Even then, I'd prefer to miss a week or two and go with 1 on 1 or JS. I'm training SF's in my first team so I know how tempting it is.

Yeah its the same principle as multi position training being a negative. You want your 2-3 main trainees getting the maximum amount possible. Anything that prevents that will never be productive.
