The only person who referred to enthusiasm being the cause for an explanation to one game was only me, so I guess that makes me the "inexperienced manager " manager you were talking about. And you didn't even bother to check what game it was -- nt scrimmage by teams that haven't got the enthusiasm reset; and obviously they have been scouting players so I'm pretty sure you know what that will do to an nt enthusiasm.

As for being inexperienced, I treat Josef kas coach parrot like a Bible and able to quote the weightings(every experienced manager will know what I'm talking about)since then and have done my own work to compensate for changes that's been made over the seasons. have been utilizing bb game analyzer since I've started, for example to deduce secondary skills of centers of the next opponent, which was invaluable for my nt coaching stints. I look at type of shots, their defenders, how good are they with making passes that led to better looks etc and find common ground by adding different defenders from different games which always end up turning into complex trees of analyses. I've took to task to build my whole country's nt about 10 seasons ago when weonly have 4 players over 100k salary made up of All stars and superstars (only 5 had MVP or higher) and today it's mostly MVP and hofs, plenty with 120 tsp up even for big mens, as I've helped chartered their training plans with training sims...

And this is just a tiny bit of my activities in bb...

And I'm still inexperienced and say simple things to explain a game.

I tried to explain why I made my previous comment and obviously I didn't check the right games or who was writting what. Now we all know how knowledgeable you are about the game, so I don't understand why you are taking it personal when it's clear you are not the kind of manager I worry about.

We have an official answer to the question of this thread:
GE JS tweaks this season??? NO
But I guess it's the answer neither of us expected.
By Marin:
The only thing I don't like here is that you're implying I made some tweaks in the game engine code this offseason. I didn't. I did them last season. The effect of those changes is so small it is hard to even measure. No cloak and dagger here.

Yeah it's been good comedy on the part of Don Marin and Sancho Perpete.

I have a suggestion for you guys: you wanna pretend you haven't made any change? Don't do 180' turnarounds (to use Perpete's own words) in the span of a few days, for crying out loud. Claiming one thing and its opposite at the same time, usually does not bode very well for credibility. Just don't say anything fellas, nichts, nada!!!

I know other games that make adjustments during the season to balance the game out. And I am fine with that. The only problem here is that we don't exactly know how the GE works, so it's more difficult to properly adjust your strategy.
I think that is an advantage for people like you who is trying to figure out what's going on, because most people just play along. Anyway, if the changes are as small as Marin says, it's not a big deal in the short term.

And that's why the question I asked last Wednesday was whether the "small change" was part of a longer term plan or not...because a clear "no" answer to this question would have closed any speculation and we wouldn't even be discussing this.

Never expect an honest answer again, since this is backpeddling on what was said in the ask BBs thread.

I just reread all of Marin's posts in that thread and nowhere did he say that any of the tweaks he made for JS were this season. Whether the tweaking and unannounced nature of it is wise is a matter of opinion, but I don't see an avenue for considering it a dishonest answer - just one that wasn't explicit and where you filled in the gaps inaccurately.
