Bad luck there. To miss out by so narrow a margin is very unlucky...but I have high hopes for next season and the consolation tournament.

Chin up, skipper!

We are playing Costa Rica in a scrimmage, gameplan can be viewed here: (http://s1.zetaboards.com/BB_England_NT/topic/1109452/1/)

I have a fair bit of prepeperation to do before the season ends, if there is anyone interested in helping scout next seasons rookies please either reply here or BB-mail me, I will keep a list & we can split the leagues up when the draft is complete to quicken the process.

Also, if there are any wannabe NT trainers please send me a BB-mail with what position you want to train. (to those that i contacted earlier in the season dont worry i havent forgotten about you & will hook you up with options after the draft scouting is complete).

Finally, if there are any managers that are after general BB advice (tactics/training/scouting opponents) register for the offsite forums, but please register with your BB username & send me a BB-mail when you register as i need to approve you.

Unrelated... but I notice our waggyrob made it to the semis of the USA Cup!

Congrats!

He's got HCA, so perhaps we'll congrat him on the final as well!

We start the friendly against Eesti in a few hours. National Team debutants in Glenn MacKissock & David Marsh. MacKissock comes in from the u21's to give more depth after the injury to Gary Adams. Marsh is a very exciting centre for the NT, his manager has been training him very well & been keeping me up to date with his progress & he gets his chance before the new season starts.

i always wanted to become national team manager. I helped the NT coach a little bit with scouting. WHAT A WORK!!!! I only did the countries starting with letter A. The amount off time I had to put in just A, I wonder where the NT coach gets the time from to do all other 25 letters.

I signed on the offsite forum and had a look. It is a complete shock to see how few players are interested in the NT. Therefore even more shocking they dare to say the coach isn't doing a good job. When they never could be bothered to participate or help the NT coach. But guess that is how life is. How human beings are. Always having opinions on subjects they have no clue about and where they lack the facts needed to make a judgement.

ps I am sure it will be more worthwhile and more appreciated leading the NT off the Moon or Antartica than be the NT England coach. I am certain I will never apply for England...]
