also, we have players who are currently playing in the other teams/countries and some (including me) tend to forget what number he played during his tenure as a player on my team...

is there any way i can remember his number so that i could retire his number?

This sounds a bit funny to me. You want to retire a number you don't even remember... Are you sure that number is legendary enough to be retired if you don't even remember it? :-)

well, not all that goes in the hall of fame are legendary.. it's just they have a big impact on the team, whether it's on or off court...

That's the same theme for me.. as it's ideal for a team who's just given a number by a couple of seasons.

i understand that it's kinda ironic... but yeah i hope that would be possible... i never even have the screen-shots of them... :(

Can players enter more than one hall of fame? There are transfers you know. Not my case just curious.

I love the HOF and the implementation of it is very good. I especially like that it is possible to elect players that are no longer part of your team.

One thing though, I dont understand why a player has to play a certain amount of games to be elegible. In my opinion it should be up to every team owner to decide the criaterias for their HOF.

For instance, suppose you have a player that makes a stellar performance in the league final and brings the club its first national title, then I would like to add such a player to the HOF independantly of how many games he has player for the team (not that I have any right now though).

That's probably to prevent users from clogging the HOF with pretty much everyone that has ever played for them, which takes up a crapload of extra space.

As there is a limit of a maximum of 1 player for every second season in the game I doubt that it is the reason.

For now it's not much but down the road, many, many seasons in it will be.

Yes of course, but as there is a limit of one hall of famer every second season I am confident that the limit on minimum games played affects very little. There are probably not to many users that have players with few games that they still want to add to their HOF, so the effect on the amount of hall of famers is probably very limited.

Furthermore it would be easy to create some other restriction if the amount of hall of famers is the reason for this limit. For instance selecting a player that does not fullfill the criteria of minimum matches played could count as selecting two players for the Hall of Fame, i.e. it would take you four seasons before you could select your next hall of famer.
