If I remember correctly, he signed up before becoming NZ manager and then was busy with that until just this last season to help with assistant coaching. Otherwise, spot-on.

That may be spot on. 70 times in 3-4 months is higher activity rate, however Namssor himself is touting his involvement since '09. This is very deceiving. Basically he has been involved for 1 season then? See what I'm saying? Either way, it's neither here nor there I guess, but if you are going to make a point to tell everyone you've been on the offsite since '09, I would think you would have been active since that time...

If 1 season is enough then you prove my point about it not being as big of a deal to be part of the off site.

As for smear job, that was not my intention. Nice of you to be attacking in nature. I appreciate that. If you would have read the last few posts instead of just this one, you would realize that "That may be spot on." was in reference to the fact that he wasn't posting during the New Zealand tenure. So I'm not sure why you tried to point this out.

Since the argument was solely pertaining to the offsite it seemed that this information is beneficial. Never once did I say he was not qualified to be the coach. Many times I have said that he WAS qualified throughout this thread. i was merely trying to show that even Namssor hasn't been as involved with the offsite as tons of others have. Was trying to quell the negativity towards Jason....not to be negative towards Namssor. However he is the one that boasted of his '09 sign up for the offsite and I pointed that out as his activity has not represented that same sign up date on the offsite. I was answering a reply to my post. That's it.

And again. Great link. Not sure what you are trying to show? I don't think you are trying to add to his credentials, but trying to prove he helped you out many seasons ago? Not sure, but again, he did a good job ranking. However like every year players slip through the cracks and it is impossible to get it all the way right. I think that's why every 18yo scout now has 25 players to follow up on...a large scale scouting expansion. It has been great. It also shows you go way back with Namssor so I reiterate that my goal is not to demean him, but to quell negativity towards others. This post, again, was a response to a response. It is okay to show both sides of a story without it being a "smear" job. If it came off as that I apologize as it was not my intention.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Both of these guys would do a great job, but I have no problem speaking up when I feel a point needs to be made. Only negativity in this thread towards either one of these candidates has been towards Jason. I felt I needed to quell that and make a point. The post that someone responded to was part of a much larger post in the first place. This was just a continuation of a snippet someone quoted me on and responded to. So it was not my intention whatsoever to harp on this topic, I was just responding to someone. That's it. Would it make you feel better if I edited the post out? I'm fine with that...

I have never implied that he has not been "interested" in the NT in the past. My point was solely based off of the offsite activity which EVERYBODY else had been torching Jason with. The only intention was to show that the offsite activity hasn't been that intensive until recently with Namssor either, but we constantly go back to the point that Jason joined a few weeks ago. If jason would have joined in early June is this even a question? Seems silly to me to disregard everything someone has to say because you are worried about a couple months on the offsite forum. That has been my sole reason for posting any of that. To try and quell that negativity like I said before. To try and help people realize that they are treating 2 people far differently because of a couple months on the off site. It has truly become a double standard. Namssor could freely speak without any scrutiny, yet Jason had to constantly deal with people attacking based on a single point. This is what Redaddy is referring to in his last paragraph. We, as a community, have displayed a double standard in this thread and I'm just trying to help to change that. That's all.
