let the games (buy ups) begin! it's going to be interesting to see what everyones moves are as we move towards the business end of the season!

I also reckon Vio will buy up and save himself from relegation - c'mon Vio you know you want to ... you don't want to head back to div 3 do you? :) plus who is going to do pants down next season! :)

I would not say needlessly occupying space. Its great to stay in ABBL without winning. You get larger crowds, kudos and economy overall. Plus you know how to stay on top constantly.

Agreed,

As much as i love Vio and have met the sexy beast in person, i know he is aware of the problems of going down to div III

Vios is tanking, Vios is sexy and Vios will be going to Div III next season! I have to stick to my guns now just out of principle as you all seem to think I'm a guarantee to backflip...

The Knowledge that if I did decide to buy up, would mean that my old pal Hads would be the one who suffers and I can't have that. It also appears he's taking measures of his own to avoid such an thing from occurring.

I know the trolls will jump on me if I tell anyone to tank but I am very happy with my decision to tank season 18. I made a fortune, bought two young key players for my team, could train like a demon and was well set up to bounce right back to the ABBL. I don't like the idea of tanking that much but if the game is set up for it and it isn't hurting anyone else I can't see the problem. It isn't unrealistic either. OKC did it in the NBA and looking at every move Orlando is making right now all I can see is they are trying to make their team as bad as possible for a season or two.

So if ViOlated sticks to his plans I am sure that such a great manager will be able to achieve his goals whatever they may be. As far as I know there have been a couple of teams that tanked division II, then won division III and division II championships back to back on the basis of that one season of big money.

Vios would have to win 5 more games than Razor back s(im discounting hadders cause i reckon he will make a move now). for the rest of the season - Vios percentage too low to only win the 4.

So its not just 5 wins... its 5 wins MORE than razorbacks.

So if razorbacks win 5, then vios has to win all 10 of his last games.

Even if razorbacks only wins one more game this season, it means vios has to win 6.

So when you do the maths, I think if he was going to make a move, it would have happened earlier.
so ive consigned myself to him not being here next season.

Thanks Regan, finally somebody who actually believes what I have been saying all season long.

So far this season has not been anywhere near as painful as you might think and we're half way through already! I'm a little concerned (slightly) that I'll land in a tough Div III league. Hopefully I have no trouble bouncing back after a season or two, when my youngsters will be ready for Div II!

I'm currently sitting on just over $4mil and training of my juniors is coming along nicely. Can't complain really, first time in a couple of season that I haven't had a good whinge about something!

Hey I said I believed you.

Key trainee about to get a 4 week injury? Besides that there isn't much that can go wrong when you are tanking.
