I have never implied that he has not been "interested" in the NT in the past. My point was solely based off of the offsite activity which EVERYBODY else had been torching Jason with. The only intention was to show that the offsite activity hasn't been that intensive until recently with Namssor either, but we constantly go back to the point that Jason joined a few weeks ago. If jason would have joined in early June is this even a question? Seems silly to me to disregard everything someone has to say because you are worried about a couple months on the offsite forum. That has been my sole reason for posting any of that. To try and quell that negativity like I said before. To try and help people realize that they are treating 2 people far differently because of a couple months on the off site. It has truly become a double standard. Namssor could freely speak without any scrutiny, yet Jason had to constantly deal with people attacking based on a single point. This is what Redaddy is referring to in his last paragraph. We, as a community, have displayed a double standard in this thread and I'm just trying to help to change that. That's all.

I think the assumption people may make with that (and I'm not saying it's true) is that he joined just because he wanted to be the NT manager. And it's wrong.

I thought about bringing up the Americas as a chance to learn as well Coco, and discarded the idea. I know you sorta debunked it yourself in your post, but I wanted to go a little bit into detail about why it's such a bad idea to use the Americas to learn/experiment.

The teams are too good and too deep. Uruguay, Argentina, Brazil are all VERY VERY good. Columbia has been making huge strides and is a contender. Canada has a great community and have some very nicely trained players. Peru and Mexico cannot be written off. And then there is Chile....Just too many good teams to make even one mistake. The first group may be important as we need to decide on enthusiasm to use against Uruguay and how it impacts the group draw for the next round but that is only if we get past Columbia in game 4.
