Sanli fouled out in 13 minutes costing me any chance of a win against Koop. 13! Might be time to go shopping for a new C.

You had home court, you put in more effort, my second highest salaried player fouled out in 13 minutes and I played Kumar my young trainee for 48+ at PG and despite playing an inside offence he took 13 shots and made one. Considering all that I consider the margin to be quite respectable.

Only 2 weeks of 3 games and another 2 weeks of 2 games left for training, for the season.

Just totalled up the skills and skill increases for my 3 trainnees for the season

.............current skills ....................progress.....................Forecast for season end

Ryder ..............62 ........................(+9)...........................(+11 or 12)
Porras .............55 ........................(+7)...........................(+10 or 11)
Pons Plana .........59 ........................ (+6)..........................(+9 or 10)

Porras amd Pons Plana are both on the verge of 2 pops each.

Hypothetically each player should get 3 more pops for the remainder of the season.

Primary focus on training has been Outside d with lesser focus on Passing, Jump Range & Inside shot.

In the short weeks I train rebounding.

I believe that I could have got more increases just training one on one and Jump Shot, but my intentions are for these to be a focus in their 4th seasons.

Should I be happy, content or dissapointed with the progress of these trainnees?

I think you should be happy. 9-12 pops is totally normal for an 18 year old rookie and you only get more if they had a lot of skills randomly with high sub-levels at the start (I have seen Indian and Bolivian players get six pops in their first three weeks) or you do a lot of one on one training.

By comparason my training has been all over the place this season. Lots of different guys like Lawrance, Sperbert, Vallo, and Oliver have been trained depending on what was happening that week and only Barton and Kumar have been trained every week.

Barton: age 24 had six pops so far, HA, OD, PA, DR, PA, HA.
Kumar: age 22 had eight pops so far, JS, DR, PA, OD, PA, HA, PA, DR.

My training this season has been 5 x PA, 3 x OD, 2 x one on one for forwards. I tend to do my stamina and free throw training during the playoffs when I need the best team on the floor so I don't have to worry about training minutes at that time.

I do feel like I am missing out with the young players and as both Barton and Kumar should be good enough to start in league games next season I think I will try to get an Aussie rookie at the start of next season if you, Iwen and Shanmag let me.

Only reason you should be unhappy is that you haven't done more inside training while you can without it costing you league games that you care about. I didn't do it in season 18 and now it is far too difficult, the one on one for forwards is as close as I can get.

Porras and Pons Plana still might end up getting sold to make room for another aussie trainne or two.

Regretably I'll probably end up buying them given the crap in this draft

Training has been focussed on Ryders needs, and the fact he is 206cm tall

He started the season with pitiful outside d and will make it to average by seasons end.

He started the season with respectable inside shot and average Inside defense (now strong).

I figure that with 3 weeks training in a season on rebounding and 1 or 2 weeks a season on Inside defense and 1 or 2 weeks a season on jump range that he should get 2 pops in inside shot by the end of his 3rd season training taking him to proficient.

Given his height etc he should make up for lost time in his 4th & 5th seasons when I start training one on one and jump shot and the occassional inside shot
