I was wondering, what Is the skills, and the amounts of each, the USA U21 NT are looking for in point guards?

It's done on a season by season basis and some players are picked to fill niches. The only hard and fast rule I've used is to not play a guard with less than 12 OD. Some deficiencies can be overlooked if the player has other strengths, but OD cannot.

For the NT if you want to have a chance, you need 18 JS, 17 OD and 15 PA to play as a guard. And each year the minimums get higher too.

Lundy doesn't meet these requirements, so if that is the minimum it isn't enforced. Madrid doesn't meet all three of those either...

What type of center do the U21 lacks?

I have an 18 year old center with HOF potential. He has pretty good guard skills for a center but he lacks jumpshot.

Clemens Petty
6 foot 8

Jump Shot: pitiful Jump Range: atrocious
Outside Def.: atrocious Handling: respectable
Driving: mediocre Passing: respectable
Inside Shot: strong ↑ Inside Def.: strong
Rebounding: respectable Shot Blocking: strong
Stamina: atrocious Free Throw: strong

Any ideas how i can train tis guy to make the team. I believe a center with all round skills will benefit the team.

You can train him as a guard for a season or two and he can become a great PF or SF, he's too small to be an elite center. His strong inside skills will make him a force at SF if you can bring his OD, JS and JR above 8. That's 20 pops to make, which would take about 1-2 seasons depending on your trainer if you focused on him.

Strenuously disagree about the height comment. The only impetus to becoming an elite center at this point is potential. It might take him longer but a hall of fame center will be better in the long run than a lesser potential center.
