Buzzerbeater needs something new to it where anyone can log on and be active doing something whenever they log on. Whether its playing a friendly pick up game or maybe put in a system to do 3vs.3 with someone online just to keep it fun. I hate coming online and fined there is nothing to do and i log off. I still am active because I like buzzerbeater but not everybody will stay active when you only have 3 games a week.

You will find that 3 games a week is a lot. You can increase it to 4 if you are part of a PL.

Most other online manager games are only 2 games a week

There are also NT and B3 games to follow too so really there are games on 6 days of the week if you choose to follow.

Also you will find that there is a lot more activity and interest once you get into the higher divisions.

I believe you with that as im pretty avtive in D.IV but for someone new it could make them not want to play. There just has to be a way to keep the new players here more.

Maybe, maybe not.

Buzzerbeater isn't shrinking currently.

Well, if you look here (http://www.buzzerbeater.com/country/95/overview.aspx) there are 19 "active" teams, but only five have logged on lately. And so it is most all over the community.

Older than the rest ...

and before a month it was 1 or 2 active team ;) And it is quite normal that just a small part of new user stay, probadly it is possible to increase those number but even a perfect free game will loose a lot of the new customer who just want a short impression of it.

One time I thought I was shrinking in size, not just any one part of me, but all of me, like from head to toe, and doors and chairs and everything just seemed larger than I remembered them, and I wondered if taking up drinking coffee maybe had something to do with this so I quit drinking coffee, which wasn’t a big deal since I don’t like the taste of coffee, but it seemed as if I was shrinking because my environment was just getting bigger all around me even after I quit drinking coffee and watching reruns of video feed from the security camera I had secretly installed outside my door, which I love doing since I have the wackiest neighbors who do things like when they open their doors they sometimes turn their doorknobs and then push the door open with their shoulders and then wait until they’re all the way inside to flip on a light switch, but then I noticed a screw under a cabinet and I didn’t remember putting the screw there and that’s when I had the thought that either it fell out of something or that somebody must have accidentally dropped it and when I asked the guy with the longer gloves about it he just took the screw away and wouldn’t talk about it and I thought it was strange how he seemed to be shrinking in size, too, and not just a part of him but all of him, and that’s when I realized that it must have been another experiment and that they were making everything just a little bit bigger every day while I was sleeping to make me think I was shrinking, and I have to say that this was not as bad as the time when they did that experiment with the drunk camel they doused in coffee, the one that gave me the idea to start drinking coffee.

Don't ask what sort of Chunks they are, you probably don't want to know. Blowing Chunks since Season 4!

Congrats on the GM!

What's next, they going to reincarnate Andy Kaufman and make him police chief?

edit - after the making-you-feel-like-your-shrinking expierment..of course.

First I was a bit discouraged by the cartoon faces. Now I hardly see them, but it can be a repellent to a new user. I gather they're completely random. It could be interesting to randomize faces according to their skills and positions/heights. i.e. Defensive players with bigger chick bones, Outside shooters with bigger ears:), Centers with bigger jaws, Good passers with bigger eyes etc. At least then when you're looking at a cartoon face it tells you something. Of course all the skills would be relative to this player, so a well rounded player would have an "even" face.
The faces could be updated once a season, - more off season excitement!
