Yes and I agree with training the JR but I don't agree with training it that high yet. You have to decide what position your player will play and then shape him accordingly. He has low potential so I really don't think he can become a SF or a combo guard. I would suggest trying to make him a solid defensive PG. To do that while keeping him as the star of your team one or two JR would be cool, but passing and OD are the keys to making him a star who can dominate your division IV rivals next season and get you promoted.

Lets say you single position train with a level 4 trainer all next season. He is 19 and 6'1" so I don't think 8 pops would be unreasonable. By finals time your player could look like this. Would this guy dominate in division IV? Heck he would be great in division III.

Jump Shot: respectable ↑ Jump Range: average ↑
Outside Def.: sensational ↑ Handling: average
Driving: average Passing: prominent ↑
Inside Shot: respectable Inside Def.: atrocious
Rebounding: respectable Shot Blocking: average
Stamina: pitiful Free Throw: awful

That would be 6-7 weeks of OD, 5-6 weeks of passing, 1 -2 weeks of JR and JS at all star week (when you only have 2 games) or stamina.

Hey I have been following this thread since you stared it as I am a new player this season as well and I just realised you are the guy who spanked my team in the first game of the finals :) Hopefully I can be a little bit more competative tonight...
