Yeah i think i'll wait for players instead of what i think is best right now. I just needed a big man with a good inside shot and good rebounding very badly, especially rebounding.

As for his inside def, its really weak, mediocre, i'll have to improve his inside def. And yeah, that's what i'll do stick to one position and train it, i'm sorry guys if it seems like i haven't been listening to your advice. But believe me i have, and when i have the money i'll take all of your advice, but believe me i have been listening, it just seems like i haven't.

Here's the thing, though. Do you really need that big man that badly?

I've only glanced over your league, but I can see that you, for example, lost a TV game against a team that was on it's third owner this season. I don't know if it was game shape or injuries or bad tactics or bad players, but if you've had essentially three-fourths of a season to build a team, you shouldn't be losing to a team in their third week.

I can't speak for all V series, since I only know mine and what I've seen of yours, but I can say that it's highly unlikely that you "need" anyone badly enough to spend anything above a couple of thousand on them. Maybe trainees, if you weren't already overstocked on that aisle, but with the draft coming up that should even take care of itself. You can build a team that can compete quite well at this level quite cheaply, and then let your training program (when you settle on it) help you grow into a team ready for IV.

Rather than buying a guy for what, 60k, and then having to "improve his inside def", why not just look for guys who are already mediocre to respectable in the primary skills for their position and who are quite a bit cheaper to obtain? They're not going to be great players at all, but they'll be good enough for the time you're in V.

Yeah, i needed that big man badly mainly for his inside shot. I know that i need defense as well, but i want to be a more balanced team. Last season all we did was score from outside, we were a jump shooting team. I needed a couple decent or good inside scoring big men, so i can use some inside offensive tactics.

Now i'm finished buying players for a while, i just bought a 29 year old power forward who is good in rebounding and inside def. I'm planning on firering some players next and then hopefully i'll draft some good players. I just wanted a lot more inside scoring and rebounding on my team, because i really want to focus on gaurd skills next season.

The last 6 or 7 weeks of last season i focused on gaurd skills, thank goodness i don't have to pay player salaries this week and i'll have a big more money, so, i can start saving a lot of money. This 29 year old big man i just bought doesn't have as a good inside shot, as it is respectable, but his rebounding is strong and his inside def is proficient, and that's what i was looking for.
