rest assured Joe. Altho this is my last season as NT headcoach for now, i don't intend on taking all the information with me. Whatever i discover, i'm trying to get it incorporated in the U21 training already, so that they can work on it from their on.

And once this season is done, i'll probably stick around as NT scout, just like i was before i became NT coach.

As for the cup games, their have to be atleast 1000 teams still left out their. And i had to draw a BBBL team as my opponent... ow well, in a certain way, it makes things easier. Once i'm out of the cup, i don't need to watch my GS anymore. I'll be able to play my players to many minutes each week, which will give them more experience on the long run ( 800 to 1000 minutes gives you one lvl increasement in XP).

As for your time concerns, yh, it's very demanding. Maybe slightely more demanding that i'd like it to be. But i've always said that once i would become GM, i'd be letting go of the headjob as NT manager. It's just unfortunate that i was asked later on in the season and not at the start of it, in which case i could have retreated from the election. I've always wanted to be a GM. I've enjoyed my time as NT coach, and all i can do now is try to finish up another nice season this time around.

just let's wait and see if there will be an other NT candidate that will have more time and dedication before we jump to conclusions it would be better that you would not be the NT coach...

I totally agree that GM and NT coach is not combineable, which is also why I never ran for it. But if we have to settle for an other 'lekkerdingzonderstring' then we're a lot furter away from home.

As a last point I'd like to remind everyone this is a BBBL forum so please keep off-topic items to a minimum.
We are prety tolerable in the Belgian forums, but when there is a related topic about subjects (like i this case the NT) then it's prefereable to post there.
Small remarks can be put anywhere, but when you want to start a discussion, or asking for replies, ask questions or explanations, or when you just predict there will be more then 1 post about the subject, then please do so in the right topic.

Marichal might end up breaking the league record in terms of points made... He anyhow just broke my club record, that was previously held by Ottevaere and was 2 points shorts of breaking the BBBL point record :D

other than me losing, i'm forseeing weeks where one day, 7 blues out of 8 teams will win, where as other weeks, it will be close to 50%.

just look at the result of last season. Blue 6 could have been in the PO's in the red conference. that say's enough.

I've managed to achieve one of my goals for this season already. Vino is being moved away from the club and i've managed to get a decent C who's salary isn't to high and has got decent secundairies into my team. And by doing so, i now have a 100% belgian roster.

All i need now, is to get a trainee to go allong with J-J and Marichal and i might have found my last missing piece. Now all i'll need upon my return is to futher add some more quality players to the team. Altho i might still add belgian to my team before going down to II.

if the game is in the week after the minutes are screwed it could be okay, GS often trails behind a week, so even though they might get a decent drop now, it's also possible the drop will occur during next week's training...
