Hey...Nishimura doesn't look as bad as he is.....1st...He is a NT player for this season....seacond...he has had 2 1 position ID trainings on that Prolific....if you get him....give him an ID training and get that up to sensational. 3rd....His IS is close too...so if you have the chance, give him some 1 on 1 F's...
I think you are getting him at a perfect time...he has high sub-levels on all his skills. he should pop like popcorn. Also...remember this...Wolph thought Yasujiro was a waste of money for swoosh to buy him...and look at him..
Jump Shot: prominent Jump Range: prominent
Outside Def.: respectable Handling: average
Driving: prominent Passing: respectable
Inside Shot: wondrous Inside Def.: marvelous
Rebounding: tremendous Shot Blocking: strong

I think this is what he could look like by the age of 24(maybe 24 and a half)
That is a 100 TSP beast....and then just give him OD/passing/Id until 26 and he will be a monster.

Think of it like this...Right now he is a block of ice...now you have to sculpture him into the player he needs to be.

Let me put it this way, I bought a guy with 11 more TSP for 600k....

NT minutes is a huge plus.....and he bought a player he drafted, what is wrong with that? he also had over 5 million, so now he has 4.1 million...How I look at it...Japanese MVPs are rare. I still think the 400K I spent on Asano was the best I ever spent.
I know his ability to compete in the JBBL just took a serious hit. 900k don't grow on trees.

Are you kidding me...You have a BOT on your side, he is going to be a playoff team, plain and simple. I can also tell you this, ..If I were to draft a Nippon MVP player(even with a hole) I would do what Malice is doing...Training him...You drafted one and sold him for a player from USA, who most likely never make the NT team of the USA. Like I said...Just like when Swoosh bought Yasujiro for 700K...you can't pass up a HOF Japanese player.
So my conclusion is this...Now Kyoto gets to watch his player compete against the best in Asia every Monday. That is a pretty cool thing.
And How is the NT page a joke? Please explain.

Yeah, sorry about that. Asano and those players are all older now and this is the U-21 thread. I didn't think it was right of me talking about my own player who is 25 here.

Thanks that makes things much clearer.

A Wolph you are correct, we do get ripped off on the prices of Nippon players but if we want to help the NTs it is what we must do.

There has been a lot of criticism of the Skillsets of both Sonada & Kouzuki. Fair criticism. But I didn't train them, both were capped when bought. Now I have the chance with my own player to do it. MVP potential and my draft pick. Seems worth the extra cost to me.

Sonada has just 71 TSP but was a NT standout.
Kouzuki has also just 71 but was a NT contributor.
Ichiro Nishimura has 65 already at age 21. He should pass both of them this season. It will take a while to catch their primaries especially as he will have inside & outside training but within 2 seasons he will be much better than either ever was. At age 24 I imagine him being ready for NT. This season I will try to keep his shape up for the U21 team & he will get training on his primaries and well as some 1on1F.

My other trainees:
Kawaida 98 TSP (allstar potential & capped out early about age 22-3)
Konoe 97 TSP (also allstar potential & capped early)
Kawagichi 107 TSP at age 23 & still training.
Shidehara 82 TSP at age 21 coming from a very low starting salary.

OK.....So we had a scrimmage and the Kazaks didn't want me to see their best, so he ran Patient and 1-3-1 zone...but the Nippon U-21 is good.
First....we call this the beast ball.....Nakata again...21pts and 18 rebounds and 4 assist for good measure...and he is only 20...WOW!
second....we call this one...Bench Beast...as in..I'll come off the bench but when I get into the game, I beast....
Nishimura...13 pts and 13 rebounds in 18 minutes...WHAT?? That is crazy
Kumatani...10 pts and 6 rebounds in 11 minutes....yeah...that is beasting!!!

And the GAME BALL goes to Isehara's boy..He was all over the place..13 pts 6 rebounds 7 assist and 2 blocks...NICE!!

Two big WORRIES!!
My two PG's dissappeared and as a team, we only hit 10-22 FTs....
Two big NO PROBLEMs..
A team ran PATIENT and were only 4-36 from 3pt land....Thanks to all the trainers for getting that OD squared away.
Second...2 of the 3 double digit rebounders popped in Rebounding last week...Thanks again to the trainers

and I will finish on this note...
GAMESHAPE is huge....please try and maintain an 8-9 all season managers....Next week's game will be for real.
