Does it matter? The Kelt's are 0-5 in team history against Delta 9. The odd's of a game 3 are slim.

Well, I'm only familiar with the last 2 and neither of those games is relevant seeing as how you didn't try. Perhaps, I can steal another on the road while you save enthusiasm. lol

I may be wrong for this, but I'm reading this and picturing Dmitri and calfson as Luke and the Emperor in Return of the Jedi, with some minor modifications:

calfson: Soon you'll be defeated, and I'll promote to I.
dmitri: Perhaps you refer to the imminent CT at your home arena? I assure you, we are quite safe from your enthusiasm here.
calfson: Your overconfidence is your weakness.
dmitri: Your faith in enthusiasm is yours.

Gosh, that wasn't nearly as entertaining as it sounded in my head. But if there's one thing we've all learned from Star Wars, it's don't make out with your sister.

Yep, after seeing that I don't make out with your sister anymore.

...wait, I've just been informed that you're the one that's supposed to make that joke. My bad. ;)

I don't know what the first reference is about. As far as the second, I have no faith in enthusiasm, except perhaps right before the All-Star break. Here in the Finals, its all about skill and chemistry.

It'll be close in game 3, but my prediction is for a Kelts victory by less than 5 points. They have the most talent and enough FT shooting to close me out in the final minute, barring some unlikely misfortune.

It seems right, also, to assume that my rival next year will be hrudlley ...

I have to say I agree with Burgertime about the effort, though - I'm sure I'd go PON, PON and POCT myself without homecourt in the finals, on the theory that if you can't win at home game 2 in that scenario you just aren't promoting, and then have the third game be for the whole ball of wax.

My thinking:

If I've got to win 1 out of 2 on the road in a 3 game series, I've got to play PCT in both road games and hope for 1 victory. Winning on the road against good teams is tough.

I don't mean to second guess The Kelts' strategy. His way is probably right. I'd just be frightened of putting all my eggs in one basket (Game3).

My final point: I, clearly, am nervous as hell. Otherwise, I'd shut the heck up. lol. The Kelts have every advantage on me and are right on track to achieve their goal & I'm grateful to them (really) for giving me the extra revenue from Game 3. They could' ve beat me in 2 ...

It's ok, you were just saving me time. Time which I could be using to... (Here's where I'd typically say "make out with your sister," but you've already tricked me into admitting I'm not doing that anymore. Well played, sir. Well played)

MVP voting is now up. Congrats to the Droids for having one player receive votes, which is more than anyone else not in the Finals got.

Sigh, you guys don't even know me that well and I'm already the Emperor. I keep telling everyone at work that I'm not a nice guy and nobody seems to believe me, yet here in this fictional world I've already been judged. Some of you are smarter than you sound :). You leave me no choice, I will crush this tiny rebellion, well of course, unless I loose game 2 or 3, in which case, I'm just going to go hide in some corner and let you all beat me next season.

I honestly don't think I could beat you on the road in the first game, I'm as nervous as you are about the second game. I really like my chances if I can force a game three. I'd feel better about the second game if you wouldn't mind sharing your starting lineup and strategy for game 2 though?
